Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CoilRenew website and services. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

CoilRenew provides exterior condenser coil cleaning for residential and commercial air conditioning units in the Twin Cities, MN metro area. We do not perform HVAC diagnostics, repair, refrigerant work, or maintenance services. If our technician identifies an issue outside the scope of cleaning, we will inform you and recommend that you contact a licensed HVAC professional.

2. Booking, deposit, and final payment

A 10% deposit is charged at the time of booking to reserve your appointment.
The remaining balance, including any on-site add-ons you authorize, is automatically charged to the card on file upon completion of service.
If the auto-charge fails, we will email you a secure payment link. Outstanding balances are due within 7 days of service.
Deposits are refundable if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

3. SMS / text messaging

If you opt in to SMS during booking, you agree to receive transactional text messages from CoilRenew related to your appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details on SMS use.

4. Customer responsibilities

Provide accurate contact and address information.
Ensure safe access to the AC unit(s) on the day of service (unlock gates, secure pets, etc.).
Inform us in advance of anything our technician should know (special access instructions, location of outdoor outlets and hose bibs, etc.).

5. Service warranty

We stand behind our cleaning. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, contact us within 7 days and we will re-clean the affected unit(s) at no additional charge. This warranty does not cover unrelated AC performance issues, refrigerant problems, mechanical failures, or damage caused by pre-existing conditions.

6. Liability

CoilRenew's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions of the unit, weather, animals, or third parties. We do not warrant that cleaning will improve AC performance in any specific amount; performance depends on many factors outside our control.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us at least 24 hours before your appointment. Last-minute cancellations may forfeit the deposit. We may cancel or reschedule due to weather (heavy rain, lightning, extreme heat) at our discretion for the safety of our technicians; in that case the deposit is fully refunded or applied to the rescheduled date.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
